Everyone in this world has a different life storyline. We can't determine the story of our lives but we can work on it to be better. However, sometimes we also have to face some bad things in our lives because things that happen to us are unpredictable. The three picture I chose had various backgrounds of its storytelling.

 

“More than an end to war, we want an end to the beginnings of all wars.” – Franklin D. Roosevelt. A war that takes place in a country in terms of money or debt that is increasing but, what worries the most are the people in the war country especially children. War disrupts an individual who are in a peaceful country. Their days are mostly filled with fear and death that happened all the time. For example, the Palestinian state. Every day there are rockets and bombs that will destroy their settlements and claim may live. Every day there are individuals who will lose their family members because of the crimes of Israel. They could not do their daily activities as they were supposed to do as a human being because they had to face a war that never found its way to the end. It is clear that war can leave various negative effects, whether physical or mental.

From this picture, what I understand is that water is one of the most prized gifts in the world because “Pure water is the world’s first and foremost medicine.” – Slovakian proverb. Most countries have good and sufficient water resources to use and can ensure the health of the people in the country and can help the economy with these advantages. However, there are some countries that still do not have a good quality of water resources. They have to limit their water consumption and even have to compete to get it and what makes it become sadder when the water they use often not clean. For example, Libya. They have a very severe water shortage problem plus the area categorized as barren. Water resources in Libya are very difficult to obtain because the regime in the country acted to cut off water resources causing them to get a dirty and limited water supply only.

Through the picture above, what I understand is that lives of individuals in the war zone are very miserable. The warring parties never cared what would happen to the people of the country because they were too greedy and obsessed with power. As a result, the people will suffer. The people in the war country cannot live comfortably and they find it very difficult to get proper rest because they are always live in fear. For instance, Iraq. The war going on in the country is getting worse. Many people were died and injured until their limbs were disabled because the war never stopped even for a moment. Many children are also injured to the point of becoming disabled at a young age without their consent. It is true that “There is no flag large enough to cover the shame of killing innocent people.” – Howard Zinn

To sum up, everyone has the right to live in peace without any violence. The wars that took place in some countries had a profound effect on me because they showed that the greed of irresponsible parties is capable of sacrificing many innocent lives. This tough me that the peace I have in this country should always be appreciated in the best possible way because not everyone can feel it. Always be thankful for what we have  (❁´◡`❁)
